If you no longer need to use Pilot, you can submit a support request to permanently close your account.

In this article, you'll learn how to close your Pilot account.

💡We have future plans to implement account closure directly within the product. We promise this isn’t a hurdle we've added to make this process difficult.

Before you start

Here are some things to know before you begin this process.

  • After an account is deleted, it can't be restored. This means all account data, including organizations or wikis that you are an owner of, are removed from our system and can't be recovered.

  • When you permanently close your account, we remove any API tokens or authorizations that you granted Pilot to access your Google Drive.

  • Any Google specific files (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) that you created via Pilot, or that you added to a wiki will remain in Google Drive and will not be affected by the account closure. However, we still recommend backing up your data.

How to close your account

To close your account, you have two options:

  1. Submit an account closure request via email to [email protected]. This email must be sent from the account that you used to create your Pilot account with.

  2. While logged into your account, use the in-app messaging feature to submit your account closure request.

Once your request has been received, the Pilot support team will confirm that your account has been closed within 5-business days.

We're sorry to see you go, but hey! Flight plans change and we get that.

If Pilot didn't meet your needs, please tell us! Opportunities to improve are always welcome.
